Chakena D. Perry (she/her)

Chakena D. Perry is responsible for assisting in the development of cross-programmatic strategies, partnerships, and advocacy efforts to ensure water is safe, sufficient, and affordable from source to tap. Prior to joining NRDC, she served as commissioner at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago. Perry holds a bachelor's degree in history from Connecticut College and a master's in public policy from the University of Chicago. She is a native Chicagoan and resident of the South Suburbs.
