Bio
Amy Mall is an NRDC senior policy analyst. Her expertise is in policies that protect natural resources and the environment from irresponsible industrial development.
Before joining NRDC's land and wildlife program in 2001, Amy worked in the private sector and in county, state, and federal government. She has worked to conserve old growth forests in Alaska and other western states and is currently focused on protecting sensitive lands and communities from harmful oil and gas exploration and production operations by requiring stronger environmental protections. She is a graduate of Cornell and Harvard Universities, with a master’s degree in public policy.
