Bio

Rachel Zwillinger is an attorney* and the Altshuler Berzon LLP-NRDC Joint Fellow, and works with NRDC's water program on a variety of litigation matters. Prior to joining NRDC in 2011, Rachel served as a law clerk to Judge John Noonan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and to Judge Marilyn Huff of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Rachel received a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a M.S. from Stanford's Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Environment and Resources in 2009. Prior to attending Stanford, Rachel received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and spent a year working for the Environmental Defense Fund's health program in Washington, D.C.
