High-Performance Tenant Spaces
Clinton Global Initiative Commitment
Introduction to Clinton Global Initiative Commitment

The Natural Resources Defense Council, Johnson Controls Inc., Jones Lang LaSalle, and Goldman Sachs have entered into a CGI commitment on a new three year project to grow demand for green buildouts in commercial tenant spaces. Greenprint Foundation, Malkin Holdings LLC, Vornado Realty Trust, and YR&G are participating partners in the project, and will provide vital expertise. Bloomberg LP, LinkedIn, and Jones Lang LaSalle have committed to be the first tenant participants in the project. Working in tenant spaces offers the opportunity to significantly reduce carbon emissions and energy use, while creating new jobs. The team will work with early-adopter tenants to incorporate green measures into their buildouts, identify and break down barriers to doing green buildouts, commercialize the business case and provide a roadmap for green buildouts, and aggressively publicize the benefits.
