NRDC makes extensive use of reclaimed, recycled and 'conservation-conscious' materials: furniture constructed from wood produced by certified forests; countertops made from soy and newsprint; copy room counters made with recycled junk mail; floor tiles made of recycled windshields and plate glass; walls and doors made of straw; carpet that will be recycled at the end of its life.
