Find inspiration in the stories of ordinary people who changed national environmental laws through grassroots community activism.

  • The Community Tool Box - Created and maintained by the Work Group on Health Promotion and Community Development at the University of Kansas, the Tool Box provides over 6,000 pages of practical information to support your work in promoting community health and development.

  • Taking Action: A Guide for You and Your Community - Published by the United Nations Environment Programme, this book is available both in print and online. It contains exhaustive chapters on organizing for community action and resources that communities can avail themselves of.
