Situated in the heart of California's Sierra Nevada, YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK embraces almost 1,200 square miles of incredibly scenic wildlands. Ranging in elevation from 2000 feet above sea level to more than 13,000 feet, the park's outstanding features include alpine wilderness, three groves of giant sequoias, the Yosemite Valley with its impressive waterfalls, towering cliffs, unusual rock formations, and some of the most sublime scenery found anywhere in the world.
