The Town Board of Sanford, New York has repealed the gag order it passed last summer on discussing fracking at their meetings, following a First Amendment lawsuit filed in February by the NRDC and Catskill Citizens for Safe Energy. After forming a research group at the University of Chicago, Macario became part of an advocacy group associated with the Pew Charitable Trusts known as Supermoms Against Superbugs.
