Partnership for the Earth Campaign

Campaign Goals and Objectives

Ensuring a Sustainable Future for our Planet:

NRDC's Partnership for the Earth is seeking funds by the end of 2010 for significant investments in six environmental priority areas:

Broadening Public Support and Galvanizing Action:

NRDC is also seeking funds to deploy an array of strategic tools to build partnerships and broad public support for our far-reaching environmental solutions:

  • Expand outreach and online citizen network
  • Engage the private sector
  • Build state-by-state momentum
  • Promote sound science

Endowing NRDC's Partnership for the Earth:

NRDC seeks to raise $30 million of our $500 million goal through endowment gifts that will provide reliable, long-term funding for our environmental priorities and strategic tools, and enable donors to establish named endowed chairs for attracting and retaining the world's leading environmental experts.
