She studied at the Salt Institute of Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine, and her work has been published by Grist, The American Prospect, Earth Island Journal, Yes! Magazine, AlterNet, EcoWatch, New American Media, Bill Moyers, and others. Recently she traveled through California, telling the stories of those who are on the frontlines of fracking in the state.
