A recent blog post from my colleague Kate Sinding mentions a family in Seneca County, New York that reported contamination of drinking water the morning after hydraulic fracturing of a nearby natural gas well. The water turned gray and was full of sediment. Kate's blog post also links to a video of another New York home in Tioga County where drinking water has been contaminated with methane. The homeowner sets his water on fire in the video.
