Cecilia Segal

Senior Attorney

Cecilia Segal’s work has focused on challenging unlawful approvals and environmental reviews of the Keystone XL pipeline, defending against attempted rollbacks of federal environmental and public health regulations, and protecting communities in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from lead-contaminated drinking water. Prior to joining NRDC, Segal clerked for Judge Christopher F. Droney on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Tufts University and a JD from Harvard Law School, where she served as managing editor of the Harvard Environmental Law Review.
