Nanding Chen

Litigation Fellow

Nanding Chen has worked on cases involving the National Environmental Policy Act, the California Environmental Quality Act, the Clean Water Act, and other environmental statutes in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining NRDC, Chen worked on white collar, antitrust, and complex commercial litigation in the Washington, D.C., and San Francisco offices of an international law firm. She also previously worked as a law clerk at the Environmental Defense Fund and the Massachusetts Attorney General's environmental crimes section. Chen holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Bryn Mawr College, where she graduated summa cum laude, and a JD from Harvard Law School, where she graduated cum laude and worked with the environmental law clinic on administrative law issues. She is based in NRDC's San Francisco office.
