Tell Congress Not to Dismantle the EPA

Recently, Newt Gingrich called for eliminating the EPA and replacing it with a polluter-friendly version of itself. As Reuters and USA Today report, most Americans don’t think much of that idea – or of proposals by members of Congress to dismantle the agency’s ability to protect our health from life-threatening air pollution. (That means you Mr. Upton, Mr. Issa, Mr. Barrasso, Mr. Inhofe, Mr. Rockefeller and House and Senate members who want to block EPA.)

We’ve been asking people to tell us about their experiences with air pollution – those who suffer from it, the doctors who treat them, teachers who teach their children, and more – to help us convey the importance of the EPA’s work. Please watch, share, and take action to let Congress know you reject ideas like Newt’s and want Congress to let the EPA do its job of protecting our health.
