A new poll reveals that most people in Nevada support clean, green energy.
Nearly 90% of those polled believe investing in renewable energy -- such as wind, solar and geothermal -- would create good-paying jobs in the state.
In fact, Nevadans of all stripes favor clean energy. Here is the breakdown of voters polled: Republicans (85%); Democrats (89%); Independents (94%).
The poll findings come at a good time, as a coalition called Nevada Clean Energy Campaign is fighting off efforts to construct new coal-fired power plants in the state.
Why gamble on coal when clean is a sure bet?
