The House Republican leadership today released a federal budget blueprint that's completely in keeping with its years-long, anti-environment agenda being funded by big polluters.
The budget resolution is nothing less than an attempt to carry out the big polluters' road map to put profits of millionaires and billionaires above the needs of the middle class and the rest of the American people. This ill-conceived agenda makes such dramatic cuts in our environment, parks and natural resources and underfunds our deteriorating infrastructure, that future generations will wonder what they were thinking. It is time to end corporate giveaways to polluters who would poison our air, waters and land for short-term profits.
