Stephen Walls

Advocate, Building Decarbonization, Climate & Clean Energy Program

Stephen Walls advocates for federal policies that will accelerate the clean energy transition in buildings, with a focus on equitable decarbonization. Prior to NRDC, Walls co-developed the Energy Transitions Initiative at the Department of Energy and worked in Congressional Affairs at FERC. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Delaware and a J.D. with honors from the George Washington University Law School. He is based in NRDC's Washington, D.C., office.
