Sylvie Ashford

Sylvie Ashford works on building decarbonization, electricity planning, and other clean energy issues in California. Prior to joining NRDC, she worked as a research assistant at policy think tanks in the Bay Area and Washington, D.C., and completed her capstone project on industrial heat decarbonization in Indonesia with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Ashford holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and a master’s degree in international policy, specializing in energy, natural resources, and the environment, from Stanford University. She is based in NRDC's San Francisco office.
