Yvonne McIntyre

Director, Federal Electricity and Utility Policy, Climate & Clean Energy Program

Yvonne McIntyre focuses on federal power sector climate change, clean air, and clean energy policies. She also works with the Sustainable FERC Project on natural gas and federal legislative policies. Prior to joining NRDC, McIntyre spent over 30 years working in the power sector, starting as an electrical engineer and then moving to government affairs. She has extensive experience on issues relating to national energy policy, electricity markets, natural gas, climate change, the Clean Air Act, renewable energy technologies, and tax incentives. McIntyre holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Oakland University in Rochester, MI, and a master of business administration degree with a concentration in international business from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She is based in the Washington, D.C., office.
