Zixin (Cindy) Lin

Zixin (Cindy) Lin focuses on promoting sustainability and protecting public health. Through NRDC’s Clean by Design Initiative, she has sought to make environmental progress in China’s apparel-manufacturing sector by showing the owners of textile dyeing and finishing factories how to save money by increasing their energy, water, and chemical efficiency. Prior to joining NRDC, Lin worked in the Netherlands developing a protection checklist and road map for environmental performance improvement. She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and a master’s in industrial ecology. She is based in Beijing.
