Ariana Gonzalez (she/her)

Deputy Program Officer

Ariana Gonzalez supports the overall strategy and operations of the organization's programmatic advocacy to protect public health and the environment. Prior to this role, she provided guidance and support for nurturing more just, equitable, and inclusive processes, partnerships, and policies as the director of equitable policy for the Climate & Clean Energy Program. For her first eight years at NRDC, she worked on Public Utility Commission dockets, state climate legislation, and community engagement in Michigan and Colorado. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science and environmental policy from Northwestern University and a master's in environmental management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. She is based in Denver.
