Jackson Morris

Director, State Power Sector Policy, Climate & Energy

Jackson Morris focuses on wholesale electricity markets; energy efficiency, renewable energy, and clean transportation policies at the state level; as well as state and regional climate-mitigation initiatives in the eastern United States. He and his team work with governors, legislators, state agencies, and diverse coalition partners to craft, adopt, and implement the effective climate and clean energy solutions we need to address the greatest environmental challenge of our time. Prior to joining NRDC, Morris served as director of strategic engagement for the Pace Energy and Climate Center at Pace University School of Law. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, and a master's in environmental policy from Bard College. He is based in New York.
