Trump’s Dangerous Budget is DOA

WASHINGTON – President Trump is releasing his third federal budget proposal today, continuing the damage from his disastrous government shutdown and putting our health, environment and future at risk.

John Bowman, acting managing director of federal affairs at the Natural Resources Defense Council, made the following statement:

“President Trump’s priorities remain dead-wrong –and they would be dangerous if enacted. Selling out our kids’ health and our public lands to corporate polluters is not what the American people want or need. Thankfully, this budget proposal is DOA.”
