Anne Hawke works with our Federal Communications team in Washington, D.C., on NRDC's major policy campaigns, including efforts to preserve our national monuments and block the expansion of offshore oil and gas drilling, along with a range of other issues, such as clean water and toxic chemicals. A lawyer and former journalist, Hawke previously worked for NPR for 13 years as an editor and producer, winning a handful of national awards for long-form stories she produced with the investigative team. Hawke graduated from Yale University and earned a J.D. from the New York University School of Law.
