Cai Steger is the director of Energy Efficiency for All, a multi-partner initiative that benefits millions of Americans with limited incomes by making multifamily homes healthier and more affordable through energy and water efficiency and access to clean energy. Previously, Steger codirected the Clean Energy Works for Us project, an ongoing initative to tell the story of our nation’s growing clean energy economy. Other projects have included developing and advocating for policies that drive innovation and investment in clean energy technology and leading NRDC’s algae biofuel sustainability work. He joined NRDC in 2008, after spending eight years working in strategy, research, and business development in the private sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Steger is based in New York City.
