Cassie Marlantes Rahm

Senior Attorney and Managing Litigator

As a senior attorney, Cassie Marlantes Rahm has worked on cases in federal and state court involving mountaintop removal coal mining, stormwater pollution, pesticide regulation, and many other critical issues. She litigates cases at every level of the federal court system, and has advocated on behalf of NRDC in two cases that reached the U.S. Supreme Court. Prior to joining NRDC, she was a litigation associate at WilmerHale and clerked for Judge Pierre N. Leval on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Marlantes Rahm holds a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. from Harvard University, where she served as an editor on the Harvard Law Review. She is based in NRDC’s New York office, where she manages the New York branch of the Litigation team.
