Environmental Justice Communities Demand Clean Air in Online Video

I am proud to support the Moving Forward Network, which just launched its campaign website and a compelling video. The video shows how communities are adversely impacted by diesel spewing trucks, ships and trains that move our nation's cargo, and calls for EPA action and zero emission advanced technologies as the solution.

The Moving Forward Network is a national coalition of community-based organizations, advocates, scientists, researchers, faith-based organizations, and others committed to reducing the public health harms created by our country's freight transportation system. The Network includes approximately 38 organizations and academics in 18 states, including New York, New Jersey, California, Illinois, Kansas and Texas, where large ports, railyards and other freight corridors reside. Importantly, Network members include individuals who live in and work directly with environmental justice communities. NRDC is a proud member of this network.

Please share the Moving Forward Network's website and video with your family and friends to spread the message that all communities deserve clean air!
