Yan Wang has extensive experience managing large environmental and energy-related projects as a liaison between Chinese agencies and environmental groups. Prior to joining NRDC, she worked for China's Ministry of Agriculture and United Nations World Food Programme. She is currently a member of the China Association of Environmental and Resource Law as well as Friends of Nature. Wang holds a master’s degree in land-use planning and natural-resource management from the International Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences in the Netherlands, a master’s in public administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and an LLM in environmental law from Wuhan University. She is based in Beijing.
