New York subpoenas ExxonMobil over its climate change denial

State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman kicked off an investigation today to determine if the oil giant purposely misled the public and investors about the risks of climate change. Similar to past lawsuits against tobacco companies, if found guilty, Exxon may one day pay for the gambles it has made against human and environmental health. New York Times
