Vatican Gone Wild
Endangered species crawl all over St. Peter’s Basilica in an art installation.
Doves are the usual animals to wow crowds at the Vatican, but on Tuesday night, parrots, chimps, sea lions, and other animals endangered by climate change (including humans) shone brightly on the side of St. Peter’s Basilica. The projections were part of a light show called Fiat Lux: Illuminating Our Common Home, by Obscura Digital, created to coincide with the homestretch of the Paris climate conference. Check out some other shots from the scene here.
