A gorgeous fall day on the last weekend in September is good enough reason to play in the great outdoors, but there’s some extra incentive today: September 26 is National Public Lands Day. So whether you simply take a walk in your local park or get your hands dirty by joining a volunteer effort, get out there and savor our shared spaces—they’re irreplaceable.
