A new film reframes climate change as humanity’s biggest shot at improving our world.

September 14, 2015

Tackling climate change is daunting (to put it mildly), but where there’s a problem, there’s also an opportunity. This Changes Everything, a new film based on Naomi Klein’s best-selling book of the same name, zooms in on communities on the front lines of global warming—from the tar sands of Alberta to the wetlands of India—and through the pollution, corruption, and tragedy, finds inspiration. “What if global warming isn’t only a crisis?” Klein asks. “What if it’s the best chance we’re ever going to get to build a better world?”

The film premièred at the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend and hits theaters stateside in October.
