Miles Farmer

Staff Attorney, Climate & Clean Energy Program

Working with NRDC’s Eastern Energy team and the Sustainable FERC Project, Miles Farmer aims to make our electricity system cleaner and more efficient. His regional focus is on New York, where he engages on matters before the New York Public Service Commission and New York Independent System Operator. Prior to joining NRDC, he was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP, concentrating on energy regulation and project finance. He clerked for Judge Debra Livingston in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Farmer holds a bachelor’s degree in ecology and evolutionary biology from Yale University and a J.D. from Yale Law School. He is based in New York City.
