Two of the world's three most popular insecticides harm bumblebees

A new study finds that two neonicotinoid pesticides, imidacloprid and thiamethoxam, both significantly harmed bumblebee colonies by lowering the number of brood cells and reducing the number of live bees, respectively. A third neonicotinoid had no effect. The Guardian
