Comments in Support of Petition to Protect Consumers from Organohalogen Flame Retardants

Comments from NRDC's Jennifer Sass in support of a petition requesting that the CPSC initiate rulemaking under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) to protect consumers from the health hazards that result from the use of non-polymeric, additive form, organohalogen flame retardants (OFRs) in children’s products, furniture, mattresses and the casings surrounding electronics.
