Environmental Community Opposes the SENSE Act (H.R. 3797)

Letter
March 15, 2016

The Satisfying Energy Needs and Saving the Environment Act, or SENSE Act, favors waste coal-burning power plants and grants an immediate legal right for these plants to pollute above what today’s law allows. This bill is bad policy and unjustified: it will weaken health safeguards on behalf of special interests and result in greater health harms to Americans.
