NRDC, in consultative status with UN Economic and Social Council, is pleased to submit our views as a contribution for “inclusion in a compilation document to serve as basis for the preparation of zero draft of the outcome document” for the June 2012 UN Conference “Rio+20 Earth Summit”. Here, we set our vision for a different kind of summit, provide a list of potential deliverables from Rio+20, and describe NRDC’s international activities and experience with international sustainability summitry.
