Sixty-Day Notice of Endangered Species Act Violations Concerning Threatened and Endangered Species in the Big Cypress National Preserve

Sixty-Day Notice to the National Park Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, pursuant to the citizen suit provision of the Endangered Species Act (ESA), notifying these agencies that their approval of and concurrence with the Nobles Grade 3D seismic survey for oil and gas in Big Cypress National Preserve violates the ESA and the Administrative Procedure Act. This notice was sent in order to protect listed species, such as the imperiled Florida panther, from the impacts of extensive oil and gas exploration activities in the preserve.
