Oklahoma Senator Inhofe is about as menacing as they come: He's scored zero with the League of Conservation Voters since 1997, was the only senator to oppose Everglades restoration, and once compared the Environmental Protection Agency to the Gestapo. Now, as chair of the Environment and Public Works Committee, the senator who's never met an environmental regulation he wouldn't growl at oversees a whole gamut of green issues -- such as clean air, endangered species, and Superfund legislation.
