Elizabeth Derbes’s work focuses on driving climate-related systemic change through financial regulation. She has extensive experience as an attorney in financial services. Before joining NRDC, she was a partner in a securities regulatory practice at the law firm of WilmerHale LLP. Derbes holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School, an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a BA from Harvard University. After law school, she clerked for Judge Martin L.C. Feldman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. She is based in NRDC's New York office.
