This sweepstakes ("Promotion") is sponsored by the Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc. ("NRDC"), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered at 40 West 20th Street, New York, NY 10011.

1. PROMOTION PERIOD

The Promotion begins at 12:00:01 A.M. eastern time on September 14, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 P.M. eastern time on September 17, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). Only entries received during the Promotion Period will be eligible.

2. ELIGIBILITY

This Promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories) who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is older) at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of NRDC, and their immediate family members or persons living in the same household, are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

3. HOW TO ENTER

Eligible entrants may enter by completing the official entry form during the Promotion Period with their full name, email address, and phone number. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries submitted by a single person are void. Incomplete entries are void. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.

NRDC is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries; failures of any network, hardware, or software; or any other technical failures of any kind. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.

All entries become the property of NRDC. By entering, you consent to being placed on NRDC’s email mailing list to receive information from NRDC in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

4. PRIZE

One (1) grand prize will be awarded. The prize consists of two (2) tickets to the Climate Film Festival Awards Night on Sunday, September 21, 2025 in New York City. Tickets include access to the reception and awards ceremony. Travel and lodging are not included.

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $500.

Prize is non-assignable, non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged for cash. No substitution of the prize or any prize component is permitted, except at NRDC’s sole discretion. NRDC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any part of the prize becomes unavailable. The winner is solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on the prize.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion.

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

On or about September 18, 2025, NRDC will randomly select one (1) potential winner from all eligible entries. The potential winner will be notified by email and/or phone using the contact information provided at the time of entry. The winner must respond within two (2) business days of NRDC’s notification. Failure to respond within this timeframe, or if the winner is found ineligible, may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner from remaining eligible entries.

The winner and guest may be required to complete (as applicable) an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and publicity release (except where prohibited by law), which must be returned within five (5) days of notification. Failure to return required documents may result in forfeiture of prize.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of NRDC, which are final and binding. NRDC reserves the right to disqualify any individual found tampering with the entry process, acting in violation of these rules, or otherwise engaging in conduct detrimental to the administration of the Promotion.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE

By entering, you release NRDC, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”), from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in this Promotion or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize.

8. PRIVACY

By entering, you agree to NRDC’s collection and use of your personal information for the purpose of administering this Promotion and otherwise in accordance with NRDC’s Privacy Policy at https://www.nrdc.org/privacy-policy.

9. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW

This Promotion and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflicts of law. Entrants agree that any disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to class action, and exclusively by binding arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association.
