Ben Hellwarth

Ben Hellwarth is the author of SEALAB: America’s Forgotten Quest to Live and Work on the Ocean Floor, about the U.S. Navy’s 1960s project to send divers to greater depths and for longer undersea stays than ever thought possible. He lives in Los Angeles, and his writing has appeared in The New York Times, Discover magazine, and The Huffington Post.
