Before joining NRDC in 2018, her nonlinear career path included implementing a program to raise awareness about heat illness at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, editing articles about beauty at Real Simple, and working as a pastry cook. She holds a master’s degree in sociomedical sciences from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.
