David Amanfu (he/him)

David Amanfu works across the industrial space and the East Coast to deploy policy solutions geared towards decarbonizing heavy industry. His focus at NRDC is on steel, cement, and aluminum manufacturing, and the power sector to support a decarbonized grid. Prior to NRDC, Amanfu held roles in the built environment as a sustainability consultant in California. He holds a master's in public policy from Duke University and a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Yale University. He is based in NRDC's New York office.
