Devon Lea Flanagan
Devon Lea Flanagan has litigated cases involving endangered species and other wildlife, clean air and water, safe drinking water, animal welfare, and environmental remediation. Prior to joining NRDC, Flanagan served as a senior attorney in the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. She clerked for Judge James Wynn Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and for Judge Francis Allegra on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Flanagan holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, a master’s degree in environmental science and policy from the Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment, and a JD from the Duke University School of Law. She is based in NRDC’s Washington, D.C., office.
