Dharma Santos-Santiago implements industrial decarbonization policy in key states across the country as part of the Industry and Emerging Technologies team. Prior to joining NRDC, Santos-Santiago worked at GreenLatinos as a climate justice and clean air advocate, where she engaged in federal regulatory proceedings and legislative affairs with a unique emphasis on Latine community engagement and environmental justice considerations. She also has experience working on clean water policy in New York State, where she focused on affordable water, clean water infrastructure, and emerging contaminants in drinking water such as PFAS. Santos-Santiago graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and minors in sustainability studies and agricultural and natural resource law. She is based in NRDC’s New York Office.
