Emely Garcia (she/her)

Emely Garcia works on advancing NRDC’s priorities and supporting the government affairs team by working with the California legislature in collaboration with program experts and coalition partners. She promotes strong relationships with state and local elected officials, partner organizations, coalitions, and other stakeholders. Garcia works primarily in Southern California, building NRDC’s relationships and managing requests from legislative offices and the administration. These collaborations advance the protection of public health and the environment in areas including plastic pollution, air quality, clean energy, climate change, oceans, nature & wildlife, toxic chemicals, among many others. She is based in NRDC's Santa Monica office.
