Jared Crum

Jared Crum is an experienced protector of the earth’s people, plants and animals, and natural systems. Prior to joining NRDC, Crum served as an attorney in the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he defended water rights, public lands, endangered species, and Indigenous natural resources. He was previously a litigator at a major international law firm, where he advised clients that included clean energy entrepreneurs and whale conservation advocates. Crum clerked for Judge Diana Saldaña of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and a JD from Stanford Law School. He is based in NRDC’s San Francisco office.*
