Karen Chen (she/her)

Karen Chen is a recent graduate of Berkeley Law. During law school, she interned with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Region 9 in San Francisco, the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division (Environmental Enforcement Section), and the San Francisco City Attorney Office’s Public Utilities Team. She was also an articles editor of the California Law Review and publishing editor of Ecology Law Quarterly. Before law school, she received a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University and served as a litigation assistant at NRDC. She is based in NRDC’s San Francisco office.
