Kyle T. Jones

Kyle T. Jones works to engage Congress and the administration in NRDC’s efforts to defend and expand critical environmental laws and policies. Prior to his current role, he served as assistant parliamentarian of the U.S. House of Representatives from 2015 to 2021, where he helped oversee the yearly appropriations and defense authorization act processes, advised both sides of the aisle during the advancement of several budget reconciliation measures, reviewed and referred thousands of bills, and guided committees through hundreds of markups. He graduated from Northwestern University and received a JD from the George Washington University Law School. He is based in NRDC’s Washington, D.C., office.
